Integra Serial Control Protocol - ISCP. It has a link to the latest version (v1.21 dated 2011) of Onkyo's protocol doc, and the full source of my Java app. Controlling Onkyo / Integra receivers. I found a forum post with the full command table for the Integra Serial Control Protocol (ISCP) that Onkyo / Integra.
ONKYO Protocol Version 1.21, 4 July 2011 (Anyone have access to a more recent protocol version?) The official (?) “Integra Remote” for android AKA “ONKYO remote” application, Version 1.51.130605.6 (running on a Kindle HD) wasn’t able to “discover the receiver. I read on thia forum about people having some similar problems with their unit identified. Ill have to investigate the issue. My receiver has been correctly discovered before so seem to be some garbage collected over the Integra network service. I sent the following UDP message. Code: 49 53 43 50 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 09 01 00 00 00 21 78 45 43 4E 51 53 54 4E 0D 49 53 43 50 00 00 00 10 00 00 00 09 01 00 00 00 21 31 45 43 4E 51 53 54 4E 0D I S C P v ! X E C N Q S T N cr header head.
Size data size v reserverd ISCP MSG over the port 60128 and the receiver correctly answer.
Hi, I've been using iRule for several years and have set up devices to be controlled via IR and serial but this is the first time I've set up a device to be controlled via HTTP gateway and I'm a bit confused. I have downloaded a device from iRule that is JVC projector.X series all.RS232/TCP. I studied the commands in this device and they are the serial commands.
Do devices that can be controlled directly from the LAN use the same serial commands or have I misinterpreted the name of the device and it is only set up to be used with a direct serial connection? Even if the device uses the same serial commands shouldn't there be some handshake included to establish the connection between the LAN and the projector? Thanks for any help. Hi Jack, The DLA-RS/X series projectors are TCP devices, and happen to use the same protocol for both serial RS-232 and IP control. Onkyo/Integra receivers are another example of devices which use the identical protocol for both serial and network control. Make sure you create a network gateway (not HTTP), on port 20554. The JVC also needs a repeating command sent to it to keep the connection open, or it will drop.
